I created a redesigned DVD collection for USA Network's Emmy Award winning television series, Mr. Robot. The official retail collection is ordinary in its features, bland in its design, and there is currently no existing collector's edition set of the series. I sought to remedy this in my redesign concept.
By sourcing official posters, motifs and stills from the series, and in examining past guerrilla advertising campaigns by the network, I designed the collection to be housed in a "computer repair kit" offering a plethora of collector's items and artifacts. On top of bonus features and an informational booklet, the kit also provides an augmented reality experience to engage fans.
While this design is purely conceptual, I would love to see a set of its likeness sold by the network.
